Influenced early by 70’s style folk and southern rock, Kim expanded her influences to include country, alternative, Americana and Christian music. This created a well rounded style with roots in many genres that also reflect her experiences living in several different areas of the country including Michigan, Florida and Tennessee and her travels through much of the rest of the country. She began writing at the age of 16 and her love of guitar and vocal performance led her on an ever expanding journey of live performances and CD projects which have been very fulfilling.
Some of Kim’s most memorable performances have been at The Bluebird Café in Nashville, The Virginia Highland’s Festival, The Rhythm & Roots Reunion in Bristol, Tennessee and The Down Home in Johnson City, Tennessee where she just completed recording her most recent CD project.
