Kim Lyons has been writing music and lyrics most of her life and for the last few years has been co-writing with her husband, Rick.  She draws on her life experiences to aid in her creating and writes to appeal to the “everyday” person in each of us.  She is a member of ASCAP and the Nashville Songwriters’ Association International (“NSAI”) workshop in Johnson City, Tennessee where she continues to learn about the art of songwriting.  She has played at numerous venues, including:  The Virginia Highlands Festival, Bristol’s Rhythm & Roots Reunion, The Down Home in Johnson City, Tennessee, The Hall of Fame Lounge, The French Quarter Café’ and The Bluebird Café’ in Nashville, Tennessee.  Kim is currently hosting Songwriter’s Night at Carter At Main in Elizabethton, TN.
